Pre-order our conversion kit that harmlessly turns your extra NSX seat into an office or lounge chair. With this kit you can use any standard chair base to create a unique and stunning furniture piece. The kits offer powered seat functionality via an external battery pack and harness, along with built in ergonomic construction features for a neutral seat position. The aluminum frame is designed specifically to showcase the seat while encapsulating and hiding the rails, motors, and other unsightly elements.
This conversion kit includes:
Aluminum TIG welded frame with built in standoffs and stylish accents.
External battery pack with bracket.
Wiring harness and OEM connector to enable power functions.
Front cladding/panel to hide seat motors from view.
All necessary hardware to mount the seat and a standard chair base to the frame.
Standard powder coat colors refer to basic options like silver, black, white, red, green, blue, etc.
We will reach out to confirm color choice once an order is placed.
Notes:
We recommend the 33" mid century base for a lounge conversion that is used in the silver bringatrailer example. However, unlike the auction example there is no gas strut, lean mechanism, or handle. It will be a fixed height (7") with swiveling as shown in the image gallery.
If you're going for a rolling base we recommend a wide option of 28" or more.
Due to the unique nature of the frame and the flexibility it provides when choosing a base, some simple modifications may be necessary.
Seat adapters will come with visible weld beads (it's better that way).
This is a very small batch product. Delivery times may be up to 8-10 weeks. Periodic updates will be sent out to customers informing of progress.
This product does not include an NSX seat (duh).
