The OEM coupe bar presents a rather bland solution and leaves room for improvement both in terms of design and strength. 

Solution:

The stylish and strong HCE rear strut bar made from a bonded combination of CNC aluminum ends and rectangular carbon fiber shaft.

Features:

Clears and works OEM engine cover. No interference issues with vacuum lines or hood prop.

Weight of just .92lbs (14.70z). This is a 15.5% weight reduction from the OEM bar.

8-ply intermediate modulus spread tow fabric carbon fiber. The outer ply of material on this tube is a 2x2 twill weave which will prevent fiber breakout better than unidirectional material.

This carbon fiber provides directional stiffness up to 8.85 million psi for increased chassis rigidity. 70 ksi compressive strength and low thermal expansion maintain structural stability under load.

A rectangular carbon fiber form factor provides a unique look.

CNC machined billet aluminum ends. Bead blasted and anodized black to match the gloss carbon fiber finish. Silver available for pre-orders.
