51 / 51R Battery Hold-Down and Disconnect

The HCE battery hold-down and disconnect is a combination product initially designed for Honda platforms, that mounts to any 51 or 51R battery.
The kit consists of a replacement steel battery hold-down with integrated disconnect switch and a separate face plate that can be customized to match your car.
If going for a more subtle look we offer a low profile utility version, which does not use a face plate. The low profile utility version follows an OEM inspired approach to its industrial design.

- Complete replacement of the OEM battery hold-down bracket
- Different colors and materials to compliment your ride
- Electrical switch sourced directly from a UL-certified electronics manufacturer. Rated for 1000 cranking amps.
- New ground cables are batch manufactured in-house from true motorsport grade 4 AWG copper cable with hydraulically crimped terminals.
- Our cable has a TPE (FT1) outer jacket that is oil, water, acid, abrasion, and fuel resistant with an operating temperature range of 49C to 105C. It maintains flexibility in cold weather. The inner jacket is a white vinyl separator.
Compatibility:
- EM1, EG, EK, DC2, DC4, Del Sol, CR-V and similar models where the battery is located on the upper passenger side of the engine bay.

- Other makes and models that use a 51/51R battery. The kit will mount to any 51 battery, regardless of location. Some free space around the battery is required for fitment and ground location should be no more than 11" from the negative battery post. Custom length cables can be purchased for non standard applications.
