How to Replace NSX Trunk Trim Fasteners (Proper Method)
Tools Needed
- Non-marring trim removal tool (we like this kit)
- Small pick
- Needle-nose pliers
- Shop vacuum
- T30 Torx Bit

Step-by-Step
1. Support the Trim Panel
Never pull the panel first. Always release each fastener individually while supporting the trim.
2. Carefully Remove OEM Clips
Use a plastic trim tool and apply even upward pressure.
Avoid:

❌ Twisting motions
❌ Side loading the clip
This is where most OEM heads snap.
3. Clean the Mounting Points
After removal:
- Remove any broken plastic remnants
- Vacuum debris
- Inspect for elongated holes
